Grocers Plus was a startup building a mobile app that gave shoppers personalized discounts based on their purchase history, location, and household profile. The goal was to make grocery savings feel intelligent and effortless.
Owned the entire product experience (user research, flows, UI, and a simple style guide) with no existing design foundation to build on. Worked closely with the founders to scope and sequence the MVP as the product definition evolved, and created the presentation materials and demo walkthroughs used to pitch investors.
Three snapshots of the app end to end: signing in and setting up a profile, subscribing to products, and catching nearby sales.
Signing in and setting up a profile (preferred store location, a distance radius for nearby results, and account basics).
Subscribing to a product. Search for it, tap to confirm, and it's added to the list you'd check back on for savings.
Browsing nearby sales on the products you're subscribed to, plus the option to post a sale you'd spotted yourself; sales could come from other shoppers or straight from retailers.
